When you're young, you're asked "What do you want to be when you grow up"... from a very early age I knew I wanted a creative life, I knew that I didn't fancy becoming an astronaut, or a doctor, because I was afraid of imploding in space and didn't like the idea of patients blamming me in the afterlife for killing them by accident. So I chose to draw, wanting to be like the renaissance painters of years past, thinking that, if they brought so much happiness and fame into their own lives and into the lives of the people who liked to look at their works.
